Top 5 Valentine Movies

If you are looking for that perfect romantic movie for Valentine’s Day this year, here are five of my favorites that any girl will love to cuddle up on the couch and watch. Guys will love them too.

1. “Ghost.” This movie stars the hunky Patrick Swayze and the irresistibly cute Demi Moore. This is a movie that will for sure jerk some tears but also keep you interested. Swayze’s character is murdered, only to find out the danger is not over for his girlfriend, Moore. As a ghost he tries to protect her. It also stars Whoopie Goldberg as the Clairvoyant fortune teller who helps Swayze protect the woman he loves. If you haven’t seen this movie, I definitely recommend it for Valentine’s Day or really any day. It is a romantic adventure.

2. “A Walk to Remember.” This is a book-turned-movie from great author Nicholas Sparks, who also wrote “The Notebook” and “Dear John.” This is a very touching story of two completely different high school students who fall deeply in love with and have to overcome some obstacles in their relationship. No matter what, love is by their side the entire way. This is the perfect Valentine’s movie, starring Mandy Moore and Shane West.

3. “Pretty Woman.” This is one of my all-time favorite romantic movies. This is definitely a romantic comedy perfect for a romantic night. Starring Richard Gere and Julia Roberts, this movie is a classic. It is a story of a wealthy business man and a city hooker finding love. I guess what they say is true; opposites do attract.

4. “Sleepless in Seattle.” You can never go wrong with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. This is a very romantic comedy of finding love in mysterious ways. Ryan’s character falls in love with Hanks after hearing him on a radio show. Her hunt for love is sure to warm your heart.

5. “The Notebook.” This is the definition of romance. Boys, if you can’t decide which movie to rent or steal from your roommate’s secret stash of chick flicks, “The Notebook” will for sure win her heart. It is the classic story of true love.
